Review of 1/350 Yankee Modelworks Boat Davits
The Heller Clemenceau is pretty devoid of detail. I thought I could detail it up with various PE and accessory sets in 1/350 and 1/400 scales. I had some success and some failures. Adding davits was a failure, but it has nothing to do with the product.
The Yankee Modelworks boat davits are molded in white metal. The details are good for the scale. The metal is soft so it is easy to remove the model bit at the bottom of each. I removed mine with a snip of a pair of modeling scissors. My pack came with four davits, which is good for one ship. A very nice product that will look great on any 1/350 scale ship.
