Creating the Soviet Navy Deck Orange

Russian and Soviet ships had and have brown/rust/orange decks. WEM used to make Russian deck colors, but those enamels are hard to find because WEM's dissolutionment in 2015.

So I made my own. It's a mix of Tamiya NATO Brown and Model Master International Signal Orange. The NATO Brown was the base color and I mixed the orange in, just eye balling it. I also mixed in some thinner as well. I hand painted the island and the hull. It needs some touch ups, but I am fairly pleased with the outcome. 

I am going to let that dry for about 24 to 48 hours before masking the green decks for the landing area. After that is airbrushed, I will touch up the gray areas.
