Finishing up the base colors

After letting the hull orange dry, I used Model Master dark green for the center flight deck area. It was a pain to mask, spray, unmask and then touch up with all of the base colors. Afterwords, I painted some of the openings black to get them ready for photo etch rails and to give them depth.

In these photo, you will see the main components just before they received a gloss coat. I will then apply black, white and brown filters once I get back from a trip.
